31 Day Nail Challenge - Day 10: Gradient

This is by far my most favorite manicure!

I used Essie polish in Blanc, Orange it's Obvious, and Raspberry. Firstly, I taped around my nails so that cleaning up the edges would be a lot easier. I applied a nourishing base coat, then the Blanc. I used a makeup sponge to apply the colors. I made the mistake of stippling while it was wet, and totally sponged off my base coat on my pinky. So, I reapplied the base color and waited a few minutes for it to dry. I sponged 1 layer on, and waited for that to dry. The difference between each color was very noticeable. I waited for that layer to dry, then reapplied a second layer with more of a patting motion. It made the colors blend perfectly.

I applied a top coat of Essie's Good to Go. Once that was dry, I removed the tape, and cleaned up the edges with nail polish remover. I applied a second coat of Good to Go. Then, I sat back and watched how beautiful this manicure turned out. I love it!

Esmie, I use Sally Hansen Triple Strong Nail treatment as a base coat every time I do my nails. It really works. In about a week, I saw the difference in my nails, after using it every day.
