November first. A day of hope for every knitter who has delved into the realm of sweater making. The beginning of NaKniSweMo. I am very ambitious this time around, hoping to finish my sweater by Thanksgiving. I intend on making Wisteria designed by Kate Gilbert, from the Twist Collective magazine.
I am following the pattern with a substitute yarn that is the same weight as the intended yarn. Here is my lazy swatch. Haha.
I completed 2 rows of the neck so far. I have about 1,800 stitches more to go before the night is done. Time to stop typing and start knitting.
